This is the story of Pepe, called el Autonomo, a guy who knows nothing about being a hero but knows a lot about unnerving his god
The word Autonomo is a spanish term that means self-employed. Pepe earned it long time ago:
There was a beautiful day in the land of the Gods and Litri the Maker was enjoying a friendly competition with his fellows inmortals (they were playing a game called ‘Strike that poor little mortal with a lightning and make him dance’) when he noticed that someone in Godville was saying his name.
“OMS (that is the divine version of OMG, just change God for self and you will understand) a mortal is annoying me”
Litri the Maker then looked down to the mortal land and noticed Pepe (not yet called el Autonomo), a guy who was shameless drunk in a Godville tavern. He was yelling about Litri the Maker being his personal god.
Litri the Maker laughed. “Only in your dreams, poor idiot” said for himself, and he continued with his game. But that was only the beginning.
Pepe always talked about Litri the Maker as his own God when he went to a tavern, and he went to a lot of taverns!!! The inmortal become sick of listening his name every day at the 5 p.m. (Happy Hour in Godville taverns).
One day, when Pepe said again “…and the allmighty Litri the Maker is my personal god, so you shouldn’t ask me to pay that bill!” a voice thundered in the tavern:
“OK. FINE. YOU WIN. NOW SHUT UP.”
“Yippeeeeee! Thanks Allmighty! I will spread your word along the world! And i will build you a temple! A big temple, made wit. marble… no, wait, made with GOLD! A golden temple for my god Litri the Maker! I will made a temple with 100, no, 500… no, A THOUSAND GOLD BRICKS!. Oh my god, will be the shiniest temple in the world. And i will…”
“OK. WHATEVER. NOW BEGIN. AND SHUT UP FOR MY SAKE (that is the godly version of for god sake, you know)”
And that way, Pepe earned the title of el Autonomo and begun the worshipping of Litri the Maker.
A quote from Pepe el Autonomo: 12:42 AM Dear Lord, most omniscient, beneficent, and unpredictable, whose existence was, is, and forever shall be eternal and interminable; the delight of my eyes and the song of my heart, whose wisdom flows like a waterfall unto… I forgot what I was going to say.
